Tuition Fees and Schedule for 2012-2013

GSL uses the FACTS Management Company to help manage billing and collecting processes. Many schools locally and more than 5,000 schools nationally have teamed up with FACTS to make bill payment easier for their families.

 *Deposit and payments will be drafted through your FACTS account upon enrollment. 

**You will select your payment dates when you register online through FACTS.

• A 1.5% discount per student is given for Annual Payment.
• A $55 monthly finance charge ($495 total for 9 months) will be added to each monthly payment.
• A 5% discount is given to the third child enrolled with older siblings.
• A one-time matriculation fee of $100.00 for all NEW students entering grades PK-8 will be billed through FACTS after enrolling.
   

TUITION INCLUDES:

• Student Accident Insurance
• Publications including yearbook, school directory, newspaper, etc.
• Student Council (grades 5 - 8)
• Most field trips and other activities (spring class trips for 4th-8th are NOT included)
• Student admission to all home athletic events
• Technology Usage at GSL
   

OTHER INDIVIDUAL COSTS:

• DRINK PLAN: Available for grades PK-8 on a daily basis; can be purchased in advance.
• LUNCH: Available at school for grades 1-8 on a daily basis; semester meal plan can be purchased in advance.
• TEXTBOOKS: Available through Burke's Book Store
• GRACE AFTER HOURS: After School Care (see below)
• ENRICHMENT CLASSES: piano, ballet, gymnastics, karate, yaga, guitar, art, etc.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: 
Need-based aid is available for students in the 5-year-old (SK) kindergarten program through Grade 8. Applications for aid must be made on an annual basis to the school Office of Admissions and to the NAIS School & Student Services. Awards are based on financial need and timely application. GSL encourages the application of students of any race, color, creed or ethnic origin to its scholarship program and does not discriminate in the making of such awards.

GRACE AFTER HOURS (AFTER-SCHOOL) PROGRAM: GSL's Grace After Hours Program has been designed to offer working parents a safe, enriching environment for their children. Emphasis is placed on the whole child with planned activities encompassing arts and crafts, study time, sports activities, games and manipulatives. A nutritious snack is provided daily. The program is available daily to students in PK - Grade 6 from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. when school is in session. Holiday Care is also offered on certain days throughout the year when school is not in session.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE FEES:  Based on a 9-month school year at approx. 20 days per month. After-school care fees for the school days in August are included in the monthly or semester payment plan that you choose for Sept. thru May care. After School Care fees are subject to change at the discretion of the Administration and Board of Trustees.

• Drop-in rates all ages: : $7 per hour (if you prefer not to enroll by month or semester)
• Full-day holiday care: $35 (enrolled ASC students); $45 per day (drop-in students)
• Late pick-up fee: $5 per minute is added for any child who remains after 6:00 p.m.
