The Alumni Board held its kickoff meeting in October and announced its officers for 2007-2008 (see above). A number of events have already taken place and there are more in the planning, including assistance with the Lisa Lassandrello 5K in January, updating our database, and securing Class Agents.

These Saints are on a Mission!

Selected a Board: GSL‘s Alumni Association was founded during the fall of 2004 – and it took off running! The first order of business was to establish an Alumni Board of Directors. These board members immediately went to work developing goals, priorities and strategies for the association’s short and long-term success.
Lost and Found Alumni: The most challenging and time-consuming project for board members was to contact former students and update the school’s alumni database. An-going activity, nearly 1,000 alumni have been found. Click here to see how you can help.
First Reunion: The association’s “Saints” also rolled up their shirt sleeves to organize the first all-school reunion – for those aged 21 and over - which was held in May, 2005. It was a huge success, attracting an estimated 300 alumni and friends from all over the country.  Click here for the full story.
Other Events: Fall Homecoming has always been popular with younger (under 21) alumni. The Alumni Association hosted a fun football evening for Homecoming '07. The Association hosted The Big One – the second All-School Reunion (for ages 21 and over), which took place in May 2007.
Volunteers: Would you like to be an active participant with the GSL Alumni Association? Volunteers are needed to help organize special events.
