How Lunch Works at GSL: 

Children in PK and JK who stay all day must bring their own lunch; families may register for the yearly drink plan if they wish. Children in SK also bring their own lunch and may register for the yearly drink plan if they wish.
Children in Grades 1-8 eat in the Anchor Center cafeteria. They may bring their lunch, sign up for the semester meal plan and/or yearly drink plan through Sodexo, or pay cash a la carte on the days they want to purchase lunch.

➢ Semester Plan: The semester plan is a good value for the student who wants to purchase lunch in the cafeteria every day, and is priced more affordably when compared to daily a la carte cash prices. This plan offers the student a choice of a complete meal: one entree (A), two sides (B) and a drink (C). The child's name is checked off the meal list as they come through the cafeteria line, eliminating the need for cash transactions between Sodexo and your child.

➢ Yearly Drink Plan: The drink plan offers your student a drink to accompany his/her lunch from home, or an extra drink in addition to the one provided with the semester plan. The student simply selects a milk or juice drink from the cooler. This plan eliminates time at the cashier station as well as the need for cash.

➢ Cash: The student may purchase a la carte meals, sides or a drink with cash. Their selection is presented to the cashier for payment. About $5 is generally enough for a daily a la carte lunch, but please click here for an itemized list of prices.
