Athletics at GSL
A high-quality interscholastic athletic program is an important part of our students' educational experience at GSL. Through regular PE classes that begin as early as Preschool Fun & Fitness, in addition to our robust school sports program, we are committed to promoting the ideals of teamwork, good sportsmanship, skills development, and healthy competition. By nurturing and encouraging these ideals through athletics, our goal is to improve the athletic ability and fitness of our students and instill in them the principles of teamwork, lifelong physical fitness, and the character-building traits inherent in athletics and competition.
GSL School fields teams in a variety of sports in Middle School, all of which are listed below. We participate in the PAA and Shelby 7/8 leagues in Memphis.
GSL Church runs a well-organized church league athletic program for Lower School children who want to be involved in team sports. Please visit their site and/or contact Christi Authement(christi [at] gracestlukes [dot] org) for more information about their offerings.
