Grace-St. Luke’s is fortunate to have not only a generous and welcoming overall community, but also a strong parent body that is eager and willing to work collaboratively with faculty and administration to advance the mission of the school. A school’s success depends in large part on the commitment of the families who invest in and support it, and GSL parents are committed to the vision of a successful school, engaged in working to support it, and supportive of the school’s leadership. We appreciate our families and are glad to be working together in support of our students.
Parents provide support to the school by volunteering as classroom parents, library helpers, and field trip drivers. In addition, the Parents’ Association—a vital part of the life of our school—sponsors a variety of fun events and fundraisers throughout the year. By supporting the school, the P.A. raises funds to purchase program and facility enhancements and fulfill faculty wish lists. A new slate of officers is elected every year, and through meetings at the school, the organization also provides parent education opportunities and keeps parents informed about upcoming events.
