Head of Middle School

Grace-St. Luke's is seeking a mission appropriate educator to lead our thriving Middle School beginning Summer 2017. The Head of Middle School is responsible for and reports to the Head of School concerning the program, guidance and management of 5th through 8th grade. As a member of the school’s leadership team, the Head of Middle School works collaboratively with the other departments and division heads to ensure congruence with the school’s mission. This position works closely with teachers, students, parents, and fellow administrators in a variety of capacities.  The successful candidate will also possess a master’s degree, preferably in a relevant field, be a self-starter with the ability to successfully prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment, and have the ability to delegate and manage multiple responsibilities. The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be approachable and genuine, possess strong ethics, a love of middle school children, and a sense of humor.

Middle School Math and Science

Grace-St. Luke's is seeking a mission appropriate educator to fill a Middle School Math and Science position beginning in Fall 2017. This individual will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, updating student records, and working with colleagues to deliver an outstanding science curriculum. The successful candidate will have a college degree in math, science, education, or other related field. Teaching certification or master's degrees a plus. The successful candidate will possess a sense of humor, a professional attitude, a desire to work with middle school children, and the ability to communicate positively and constructively with parents. Technology skills are a plus, as is prior experience.
