The Grades & Attendance screen gives period and attendance information. (Attendance at GSL is only recorded during Homeroom each day.) The blue text of the instructor’s name gives you immediate access to send an email to the instructor. The blue text of a numerical grade will display all the assignments for the given class that determine that average grade.
Normally the column titles will be F1, F2, F3, which represent the first, second and third trimester final grades.

Occasionally other column titles may appear. If you see a T1 or an E1, these represent the grade average prior to the exam and the exam grade respectively; likewise for T2 & E2 or T3 & E3. F1 (or F2 or F3) will always be the final trimester grade. At the end of the year you will also see a Y1 for the year average, but it will not be posted until after the end of the third trimester.

Grades for the previous trimester(s) are available for viewing under the column titles G1, G2, or G3.

Your child’s attendance record for the current trimester can be viewed. Any day for which a hyphen is displayed is a time when school was not in session.

This section might be helpful to you if you check your email frequently, but might not remember to check your child’s grades regularly. You can elect to receive various types of information by email on your chosen schedule

This page gives you comments that teachers have made about your child’s class or individual comments about your child’s performance in class. These entries will be changed approximately every three weeks. If you need more personal or more frequent communication with a teacher, clicking on the teacher’s name on the Grades & Attendance page will allow you to send an email message directly to the teacher.

The school bulletin is currently not being used.

Registration via the internet is not being used by GSL at this time.
