Amie Plumley holds a B.S. in radio-TV-film from the University of Texas and a master’s degree in teaching from the University of Memphis. Prior to joining Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal School as a Senior Kindergarten teacher in 2004, she worked in development at the Ronald McDonald House of Memphis. Amie has shared her teaching strategies and best practices at the National Association for the Education of Young Children annual conference and the Tennessee Association of Independent Schools conference. An avid seamstress, she has co-authored a children's sewing book entitled Sewing School and co-directs an after-school Sewing Club at GSL. She is married with two young children who are currently enrolled at GSL.
