Chrissy Nelson is joining the GSL faculty this year as a 6th grade teacher. She is from Memphis and received her B.S. in Elementary Education from Crichton College. She has taught in Shelby County Schools, in the Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado, and Marion, AR. She recently graduated with her Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. She has a baby girl named Charlotte who takes up most of her free time but loves to read and hopes to spend some time running when the weather allows it.
