Katie Donald grew up in Clarksdale, MS. She attended Peabody College at Vanderbilt University and graduated with a B.S. degree in Human Development and English. She taught first grade with the Teach For America program in Plaquemine, LA before teaching preschool for four years in Honolulu and Nashville. She has been a Senior Kindergarten teacher at GSL for 13 years. She has three daughters who currently attend GSL.
