Laura Lemly has been a teacher in Junior Kindergarten at GSL for 13 years. This will be her second year as lead teacher for the Playful Pups. She received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Mississippi and her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. She spent 15 years working in the medical and mental health fields prior to joining the faculty at GSL. Laura is currently working toward her master’s degree in teaching through the University of Memphis. She is the mother of two sons who are GSL alums. Her oldest son, Ben, is a senior at UT- Knoxville and her youngest son, Graham, is a freshman at Christian Brothers University.  In her spare time, Laura enjoys reading, gardening, and traveling.
