Libby Shannon is a lifelong Memphian who attended Grace-St. Luke’s in junior kindergarten, senior kindergarten, and first grade. She proudly counts Grace-St. Luke's School's founder, Lorena Webber Walker, as one of her first teachers. Libby also attended Idlewild Elementary and Bellevue Junior High before graduating from Central. She graduated from UT-Martin with a B.S.Ed. in 1975, and got married the same year. Before joining GSL in 1985, she taught junior kindergarten at Evergreen Presbyterian Church for four years. She has two sons who attended GSL and three grandchildren. Libby enjoys walking and spending time with her family at the beach and the lake.
