Mike joined the GSL family as the Head of Middle School in July 2011 after spending 8 years at Providence Day School (PDS) in Charlotte, NC. A Pennsylvania native, Mike earned a B.A. in History from Ursinus College and an M.A. in Educational Leadership from George Washington University. In addition to his most recent role as the Middle School Dean of Students at PDS, Mike previously served as a grade level dean, history teacher, and middle school baseball coach. Mike and his wife, Samantha, have three children who attend GSL: Zachary (7th grade), Michael (1st grade), and Rylee (JK). Outside of school, Mike is an avid sports fan who loves rooting for the Philadelphia teams, especially the Eagles and Phillies. He also enjoys spending time exploring all of the wonderful things that Memphis and the surrounding area has to offer.
