California native Shanna Eason came to Memphis to attend the University of Memphis and graduated with a B.A. in English in 2001. After working in television for 10 years, she went back to school and earned her master’s degree from the University of Phoenix. Prior to joining the faculty at Grace-St. Luke’s, she taught kindergarten for one year at Carden Arbor View School. She has been at Grace-St. Luke’s for four years teaching fifth grade language arts and coaching volleyball, basketball, and softball for the Saints. Now in her fifth year, she teaches seventh grade English and eighth grade American History. Shanna loves reading, playing sports, and spending time with her friends and family. She is married to Brian Eason, a GSL alumnist.
