Sherry Emerson grew up in Starkville, MS. After graduating from Starkville High School, she earned a B.A. degree in Marketing from Mississippi State University. She worked for SABRE, the computer division of American Airlines, for eight years in sales and marketing. Continuing in the travel industry, she become the general manager of Regency Travel and remained there for seven years. After leaving the travel industry in 2004, she joined the Grace-St. Luke’s Development Department as the Associate Director of Development. Her two children each began attending GSL in PK. Her daughter is still at GSL; her son attends CBHS. Sherry enjoys running, yoga, and spending time with her family. She is an avid sports fan.

Associate Director of Development -

Responsible for providing general, on-going assistance to the Director of Development to ensure the success of the Capital Campaign and Annual Giving Campaign; serves as the liaison between the school and the Parents' Association, Booster Club, and the GSL Alumni Association; helps support and direct related activities and special events.
