The Headmaster of Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal School is responsible for the day to day...

Tom Beazley has been the Headmaster of Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal School since July 1998. He began his career as a Middle School mathematics and history teacher at Newtown Friends School where he later became a capital campaign coordinator and Director of Studies before leaving to assume a position at Garrison Forest School in Owings Mills, Maryland. From 1986 until 1992, Mr. Beazley was Head of the Lower School at Garrison Forest School—a girls’ day and boarding school enrolling 600 students from prekindergarten through twelfth grade. In 1992, he became the Headmaster of Woodland Country Day School in Bridgeton, NJ—a prekindergarten through eighth grade school serving 180—until he was asked to head GSL in 1998. Mr. Beazley is the husband of GSL Junior Kindergarten teacher Kappi Beazley and the father of two St. Mary's graduates, Kristen and Diana.
In addition to Mr. Beazley's responsibilities as Headmaster, he has continued to teach one Algebra I class since joining GSL. He began his teaching career in 1997 teaching both Middle School history and mathematics. When he began his administrative responsibilities at Garrison Forest School and Woodland Country Day School, he continued to teach by conducting math lab in Lower School and algebra classes in Middle School. His love for teaching continues to this day.
