Coaching Positions, Middle School Sports
Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal School is seeking enthusiastic, mission-aligned individuals to serve in part-time lead and assistant coaching positions for Middle School sports teams for the coming school year. The following positions are open:
Assistant Coaches, 5th-8th Grade Football (fall)
The season runs from August until October. These part-time positions include practices/games four-fives times per week. GSL’s home field and practice location is Snowden Field (2233 Harbert Ave.) A stipend is provided.
Lead and Assistant Coaches: 5th/6th and 7th/8th Grade Girls Basketball (winter)
Lead and Assistant Coaches: 5th/6th and 7th/8th Grade Boys Basketball (winter)
The season runs from mid-October until early February. These part-time positions include practices/games three-four times per week, depending on the team, with occasional weekend games. Our home gym and practice location is the Anchor Center (250 Lemaster). A stipend is provided.
Lead and Assistant Coaches, 5th-8th Grade Baseball (spring)
The season runs from February through April. These part-time positions include practices/games four-five times per week. GSL’s home field and practice location is Snowden Field (2233 Harbert Ave.) A stipend is provided.
The successful candidate for these positions will enjoy working with middle school children and parents, have excellent communication skills, be approachable and genuine, and possess strong ethics and a sense of humor. Prior playing experience is essential; prior coaching experience preferred but not required.

After School Care Teachers
Grace-St. Luke’s Episcopal School is seeking part-time After School Care Teachers to work in a fun, community-oriented setting. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety and well-being of children in the program, engaging with students, and creating and implementing activities. Experience working with children in a group setting is a plus but not required. However, a sense of humor and a love of kids is essential. Come join our community! School Nurse
Grace-St. Luke’s Episcopal School is seeking an enthusiastic, mission-aligned Registered Nurse to serve as a full-time School Nurse for our community (ages 18 months through 8th grade) for the coming school year. This vital role oversees the general health and well-being of students, faculty, and staff by providing expert medical intervention, managing chronic care plans, and administering medications in compliance with Tennessee state guidelines. Beyond daily care, the nurse maintains comprehensive health records, coordinates essential screenings, and serves as a key consultant on infectious disease control and emergency preparedness. You will work closely with school leadership to ensure student safety during on-campus activities and overnight excursions, while also acting as a health advocate through staff in-service training in CPR, First Aid, and AED usage.
The ideal candidate possesses a current Tennessee RN license and a strong background in pediatric nursing or school health services. We are looking for a collaborative professional who can work independently, communicate effectively with parents and healthcare providers, and manage confidential information with the utmost integrity. Proficiency in digital record-keeping and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with a positive, child-oriented attitude are essential. Lower School Lead Teacher
Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal School seeks an enthusiastic and mission-aligned educator to fill a Lower School lead teaching position for the coming school year. This individual will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, updating student records, and working with colleagues to deliver an outstanding elementary curriculum. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety and well-being of children in the program, supervising and engaging with students, creating and implementing activities, guiding and supporting children in their development of academic and interpersonal skills, and maintaining positive relationships with students and parents. The successful candidate will have a college degree in education or other related field. Teaching certification or master's degree a plus, as well as experience with a reader's and writer's workshop model of instruction. The successful candidate will possess a love of children, a professional attitude, strong ethics, a sense of humor, and the ability to communicate positively and constructively with parents. Technology skills are a plus, as is prior experience.

Lower School Assistant Teacher

A Lower School assistant works closely with and supports the lead teacher in developing and implementing lesson plans for our students. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety and well-being of children in the program, supervising and engaging with students, creating and implementing activities, guiding and supporting children in their development of academic and interpersonal skills, and maintaining positive relationships with students and parents. This position works closely with teachers, students, parents, and administrators in a variety of capacities. The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, be a self-starter with the ability to successfully prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability to manage multiple responsibilities. The successful candidate will possess a love of children, a professional attitude, strong ethics, a sense of humor, and the ability to communicate positively and constructively with parents.

Preschool Lead Teacher
Grace-St. Luke's is seeking an enthusiastic and mission-aligned educator to serve as a lead teacher in the preschool for the 2025-26 school year. A preschool lead teacher works closely with the assistant teacher in developing and implementing lesson plans and delivering a play- and inquiry-based curriculum for our students. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety and well-being of children in the program, supervising and engaging with students, creating and implementing activities, including outdoor classroom activities, guiding and supporting children in their development of interpersonal skills, and maintaining positive relationships with students and parents. This position works closely with teachers, students, parents, and administrators in a variety of capacities. The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in a relevant field, be a self-starter with the ability to successfully prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment, and have the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
