Head of Middle School

Grace-St. Luke’s Episcopal School seeks a joyful, relational leader to guide a thriving Middle School community during one of the most dynamic stages of student growth.

The Head of Middle School at Grace-St. Luke’s Episcopal School (GSL) serves as the educational and administrative leader of the 5th-8th grade division, responsible for guiding the academic program, supporting faculty, nurturing student growth, and building strong, trusting relationships with families. Reporting directly to the Head of School, the Head of Middle School works collaboratively with other division leaders (Preschool and Lower School) as part of the Academic Leadership Team to advance the mission of GSL and ensure alignment across the school.

The Head of Middle School leads a talented team of educators who are committed to preparing students for high school as they navigate the intellectual, social, and emotional transitions of adolescence. The Middle School program emphasizes strong academics, character development, advisory, responsible citizenship, and the Episcopal identity of the school. The ideal candidate will balance strategic vision with daily presence, fostering a community where students and faculty feel known, challenged, and supported. Baseball Coaches (5th-8th Boys Team) 

Grace-St. Luke's is seeking enthusiastic, mission-aligned individuals to serve in lead and assistant coaching positions for our fifth through eighth baseball team(s). The season runs from mid-February through the end of April. These part-time positions include practices/games 4-5 times per week, with occasional weekend games. A stipend is provided. The successful candidate will enjoy working with middle school children, have excellent communication skills, be approachable and genuine, and possess strong ethics and a sense of humor. Middle School Math Teacher

Grace-St. Luke's is seeking an enthusiastic educator to serve as a Middle School Math Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This individual will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, updating student records, and working with colleagues to deliver an outstanding Middle School math curriculum. This teacher will support and guide students in their academic growth by fostering a positive learning environment, setting high expectations, and providing the necessary resources to help them succeed. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety and well-being of children, supervising and engaging with students, creating and implementing activities, and maintaining positive relationships with students and parents. This position works closely with teachers, students, parents, and administrators in a variety of capacities.

The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in a relevant field, be a self-starter with the ability to successfully prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability to manage multiple responsibilities. The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be approachable and genuine, possess strong ethics, a love of Middle School children, and a sense of humor. Prior teaching experience is a plus, but not required.

Substitute Teacher Position - All grades

There are opportunities throughout the year to serve as a substitute teacher at the Preschool, Lower School, and Middle School levels. We are seeking mission-appropriate individuals who can specialize in one or more of these age groups.
