Lower School Maternity Leave Teacher

Grace-St. Luke's is seeking a mission appropriate educator to serve as a Lower School Maternity Leave Teacher, beginning October 2021.  This individual will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, updating student records, and working with colleagues to deliver an outstanding lower school curriculum. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety and well-being of children in the program, supervising and engaging with students, creating and implementing activities, and maintaining positive relationships with students and parents. This position works closely with teachers, students, parents, and administrators in a variety of capacities.

The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in a relevant field, be a self-starter with the ability to successfully prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment, and have the ability to manage multiple responsibilities. The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be approachable and genuine, possess strong ethics, a love of lower school children, and a sense of humor. Prior teaching experience is a plus, but not required.

Auxiliary Programs Assistant

Grace-St. Luke’s Episcopal School is seeking a part-time, year-round assistant in our After School Care & Enrichment and SummerFest programs. The goal of this position is to provide exemplary customer service to families and support to the Director of Auxiliary Programs. Responsibilities include communicating with families, maintaining accurate records, managing the registration platform, working with students, and assisting with projects such as planning special programming. This position works closely with administrators, faculty/staff members, parents, and students.

The successful candidate must have availability from 1:00-6:00 p.m. during the school year. Morning or additional hours may be available during the summer. The successful candidate will be organized and communicative, possess a sense of humor, function as a team-player, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Although a degree is not necessary, experience working with children is required.

After School Care Teacher

Grace-St. Luke’s Episcopal School is seeking part-time After School Care Teachers to work in a fun, community-oriented setting. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety and well-being of children in the program, engaging with students, and creating and implementing activities. Experience working with children in a group setting is a plus but not required. However, a sense of humor and a love of kids is necessary.
