Admissions Process

The admissions process begins in the fall one year before the projected school year of entry (Fall 2024 for the 2025-26 school year). Please complete an inquiry form and we will add you to our mailing list for future admission notifications.

To begin an admissions application today, the steps are as follows:

  1. Click here to apply.

  2. Come for a school tour. 

  3. Once we receive your application, you will be contacted to schedule an admissions assessment and visit for your child:

  • Little Saints (LS) is our new program for 18- to 23-month old children. LS applicants must be 16 months old by June 1 to be eligible for this 5-day per week program. 

  • All students entering LL, PK, and JK will come for an entrance assessment. LL applicants must be 2 by June 1, PK applicants must be 3 by June 1 and JK applicants must be 4 by June 1 to be eligible for our preschool programs. 

  • All students entering grades Senior Kindergarten (SK)-4 must submit records from their current school and be tested for admission. These tests are administered individually. 

  • All students entering grades 5-8 must submit records from their current school and either take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) or submit recent ERB scores from an independent school. Students seeking admission at this level spend a morning or an entire day visiting our classes. 

  1. Admissions Committee meets to review applicants in January/February.

  2. Admission notifications are sent in mid-February according to MAIS admission notification guidelines.

  3. After March 1, the waiting pool will be activated and new applications accepted until all grades have filled.

Grace-St. Luke’s Episcopal School Admissions Policy

Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal School admits candidates who show potential for being both academically and socially successful in our program. All prospective students entering GSL undergo an admissions assessment by a current teacher. For lower and middle school applicants, the admissions committee reviews academic records and recommendations from the student's current school. Qualifying applicants perform at or above grade level and demonstrate independence in the classroom. Students seeking a spot in grades 5-8 must take the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) or submit ERB scores from another independent school to be considered for admission.
