Financial Aid
Need-based financial aid is available for students in senior kindergarten through eighth grade. The school does not offer financial aid for preschool. Awards are made on an annual basis, and financial aid will only cover a portion of the tuition cost. Applications for aid must be made online to Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST). Awards are based on financial need and timely application. See the Affordability tab on this page for more information.

Need-Based, Discounted Tuition
Need-Based, Discounted Tuition
Grace-St. Luke’s is committed to offering need-based assistance to eligible applicants for grades SK-8. The school does not offer need-based discounts for its preschool programs. The availability of school resources, the number of qualified applicants, and overall budgetary constraints influence financial assistance decisions. Tuition discounting will only meet a portion of the family’s financial obligation to the school. While there is no obligation to repay the award, it is hoped that the recipients will contribute to the school's annual fund each year. In an effort to make the process fair to all, Grace-St. Luke’s considers the following when making award decisions:
-
The primary responsibility for financing a student’s education rests with the family. Families must consider all their personal resources before applying to the school for funds.
-
Both parents are expected to contribute to tuition. GSL imputes an annual income for a non-working parent with the exception of a parent who stays home to care for a young child.
-
Grace-St. Luke’s believes a family should invest in their child’s education before elective expenses.
Families that receive tuition discounting for the current school year must submit applications by December 15.
New applications for currently enrolled families are due on January 10.
How to Apply for the Coming School Year
Grace-St. Luke’s uses the online service of Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) to process applications. FAST does not decide whether discounting will be given; it simply provides a need-based analysis that includes a recommendation of what a family should reasonably contribute toward tuition. All information from FAST is kept confidential. The reports are reviewed by a committee, which makes recommendations to the Head of School based on next year’s budget.
Returning Families
