Instructional Support Specialist

Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal School seeks a mission appropriate educator to fill full time Instructional Support Specialist postion, beginning with the 2019-2020 school year. Under the supervision of the Head of Lower School and Head of Middle School, the Instructional Support Specialist functions as a case manager for students with identified needs, providing resources and supports for classroom teachers as they plan programs, set goals, and modify curriculum for students. The Specialist will provide ongoing professional development and instructional support for teachers as well as parent education, and support select individual students as needed.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in education, psychology or other related field. Credentials in special education or multi-sensory tutoring are preferred. Three to five years experience are preferred. Teaching certification a plus. The successful candidate will possess a sense of humor, a professional attitude, a desire to work with early childhood through middle school aged children, and the ability to communicate positively and constructively with parents. Technology skills are a plus.

Early Childhood Librarian

Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal School seeks a mission appropriate educator to fill full time, Early Childhood through 2nd grade Librarian position beginning with the 2019-2020 school year. This position oversees the programming of the early childhood through second grade library services with a goal of fostering a love of reading in students, supporting the teachers in their delivery of curriculum, and connecting parents and the community to the school. The successful candidate will have a college degree in education, library sciences, or other related field. Teaching certification or Masters degrees a plus. The successful candidate will possess a sense of humor, a professional attitude, a desire to work with early childhood and elementary aged children, and the ability to communicate positively and constructively with parents. Technology skills are a plus, as is prior experience.
